What is a building emergency?
Building fires and floods are building emergencies! Most other circumstances are not a building emergency (see TENANTS > When You Need Service to the left).
What should I do in case of any emergency?
1. Call 911 immediately.
2. Notify our office (408-556-0200) only when safe to do so.
3. Follow the directions given by our staff or our voicemail directions.
What should I do in case of a theft or other police action?
1. Call 911 immediately.

What should I do in case of a roof leak, plumbing stoppage, air conditioning failure or similar inconvenience?
1. Take steps to minimize damage to your personal property and to your business.
2. Notify our office (408-556-0200) during business hours. If you call after-hours, please be sure you leave a message for your Property Supervisor or leave a message in our voicemail General Mailbox.
What should I do if I lock myself out of my place of business?
1. In most cases, neither Portfolio Realty Management nor the property security service has a key to your place of business.
2. Please call a local locksmith, who will charge you for lock-out services.
What should I do if the power goes out?
1. Please refer power outages to PG&E at 800-743-5002 or 800-743-5000. If your place of business is in the City of Santa Clara, call Silicon Valley Power at 408-615-5640.
2. Notify our office (408-556-0200) during business hours. If you call after-hours, please be sure you leave a message for your Property Supervisor or leave a message in our voicemail General Mailbox.
